Our Head Chef Sam Page brings a wealth of experience and talent to the kitchen, taking pride in using the freshest and best ingredients all locally sourced within a 15 mile radius.

Menus are designed to deliver heart-warming traditional pub favourites alongside a creative range of Seasonal Specials and our popular Sharing Platters.  Long lazy Sunday fireside roasts are a weekly highlight.

The focus is always on high quality local ingredients with a little foraging here and there – Hambledon nettles, blackberries and wild garlic being some of Sam’s favoured additions.

At the bar there’s an interesting selection of local Real Ales, wines from Surrey vineyards and the Merry Harriers Garden Cider home-pressed from Hambledon apples. Our award-winning Bloody Mary is a very popular weekend choice.

The pretty garden is perfect for al fresco drinks and dining with a children’s play area, garden boules and a view of the resident llamas in the neighbouring paddock.  Children of all ages and four-legged friends are always welcome.

Two cosy private rooms can host up to 18 guests or we offer exclusive use in the main dining room for up to 35 guests. Please contact us directly and we can advise on room selections and work with you to tailor any specific menu requirements.
