Award-winning ales and llama trekking in England's Surrey Hills
The Merry Harriers, south west of London, claims to be the only inn in England offering llama picnic treks.
The Merry Harriers might look like a regular, if particularly charming, English pub, complete with an open fireplace, award-winning local ales and dog-friendly credentials.
But the 16th-century pub — in the village of Hambledon in Surrey Hills — has a point of difference that goes well beyond its recently refurbished interiors and prominent owner (the entrepreneur Peter de Savary).
